# 4.2 In-Game token (JONG)

JONG token works as the internal currency of The Maverse ecosystem. Things like rewards in game that players gained and virtual items in shops will be priced in JONG token, therefore, JONG token could be designed to be issued unlimitedly, it is for building up a firewall between MA token and games to avoid the scenario of having glitches in games that could affects MA token.
